I stumbled in by accident, former dear reader William F. Orr related a story about a birthday gift I had given him and mentioned my maiden name in full.

In a moment of boredom at work , while stuck on eternal hold with a bank, I googled my maiden name and the post showed up.

I actually joined just to prank WFO (which is why my name is Vixmom) it was a hint to my identity so WFO could figure it out.

WFO encouraged me to stick around assuring me that I would love it here.

He was right.

So, the Scalphunters continues. It's not great, but it's fairly enjoyable. I guess it belongs to that series of adult westerns that came about when the ratings system came in. A little more cussing, a little more violence, a little more sex.

Held even dearer was how you greeted the Vixter with open arms.

When, just 3 months after completing chemo and radiation therapy, I was rushed to the hospital for emergency gall bladder surgery 16 year old Vixter came here for comfort and support and you all were there for her.

I will love you all forever for that alone.

This reminds me of that joke recalled by Mickey Rooney as "Hortense" in Sugar Babies: She danced a little on her left leg and they threw money. Then she danced a little on her right leg and they threw money. Pretty soon, between her left leg and her right leg, she made a fortune and was able to afford a beautiful apartment.

I finally got a response from my doctor, who's been out of town. She said the prescriptions were taken care of on Nov. 5, so why in hell wasn't I notified?

Today I saw "The Current War." I learned more about Alternating vs Direct Current than I ever thought I would. It was actually an entertaining movie and some of it takes place in my hometown, Buffalo, which apparently has the dubious distinction of being the location of the first use of the electric chair.
