I worked a couple of hours of OT today, went in an hour early and worked an hour late

It is great you now get OT when you work extra hours.

I like the self check in this particular store because they  have a scan gun

I have never seen one in self check.

Then I get to the register scan my card, grab the gun scan each item and boom I’m done no belt no unpacking and repacking the cart

I like this.

I sautée thinly sliced  vidalia onion in butter and  then add the peeled and thickly sliced mushrooms, butter and sherry and let it simmer for hours

It sounds delicious.

Back from a decent run-through - well, some decent, mostly act one, which finally is within spitting distance of the forty-five minutes I want it to run - tonight forty-eight.

And I have more DVDs to watch than I will ever have time for in the rest of my life. I need to stop buying and start watching.

I do not have high hopes, my SIL teaches kindergarten in economically depressed area of Brooklyn, her students are always sick so of course....

Then I went to BJs fir some thanksgiving shopping

Tonight, I went to Fred Meyer to get more cream cheese (one 8-ounce package) because I wasn't sure how many 1-once packets I had.

I got a package of 1-ounce single-serve packets of cream cheese at Costco, but I got back home, I realized that the packets are actually "cream cheese spread." 

[George]

It's softer than the 8-ounce blocks, so I don't want to take the chance on using them in a cheesecake. 

[George]

So, I didn't make my cheesecake tonight. 

[George]

I'll get more cream cheese and make it tomorrow night. 

[George]

I do have everything else.

At Fred Meyer, you have to scan and then place each item in the bagging area.

You can't leave anything in the cart when you're at the self-checkout.
