After the clock rehanging, it'll be theater time.  And finally after tonight's show, we're going to have a cast party.  THEN, I will come home.  Whew!!

Until later!

I spent Valentine's Day having acupuncture. Read what you like into that. No, I'm not into pain.

Yesterday at the sitzprobe I had a nice visit with Paul Katz, whose show Tales of Tinseltown I scored for its initial 1985(?) workshop and a later production in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter Theatre.  Our last project was around 1989, an aborted production by Michael Butler (producer of Hair) a Chicago musical, Pope Joan.

My friend Don Oliver is a wonderful composer who edited a collection of the best revue sketches around 1980.  When I met Don around 1980, he was working as a copyist for Mathilde Pincus' Chelsea Music Service and now he is Chelsea Music Service.

I man on the far left is producer Jeffrey Lesser, whom I had never met before.  He works with Paul.   So here we are on break, Jeffrey, Paul, Don, and decrepit me.

Quite a nice photo. Larry, you look slimmer that I recall.

They only have to die and we can go home.

Shouldn't that be the title of something?

I would love to change my avatar and do what DR Laura has done.  I have unfortunately been forbidden to put any photos on line.  Instead, here is a photo of the Norse Goddess driving her cat pulled chariot.

Is this because of the risk of the horrible kiddie porn?

DR Jane, I suspect I’m going to be under the same restrictions regarding photos.

I am sorry.  It is frustrating.

Once Keith stopped traveling and we were together we sort of stopped celebrating the holiday.  Now it will be a different celebration every year.

Margo's daughter Alexis' birthday was yesterday.  She has the same different celebration, and has for the last 33 years. :)

:)

How does Alexis feel about being born on Valentine's Day?  I have my concerns.  Our D-I-L thinks it is great.

Possibly, plus the fact he/they are private people.

Taxes are just rolling along.  Today, I have to deal with the CD, DVD, Books, and music receipts.  Since I'm not making much money, there are fewer than in the past.  I wish I could deduct the cat food, kitty treats, toys, and litter.

I've lost 60 lbs in the past year!  I don't see it but others claim they do.

I first need to shower and get dressed, then I need to go to my sisters and meet their new cat and get some hollow wall mounts from my sister, then hie myself to my parents' house with said hollow wall mounts to rehang a couple of clocks for my mom.

I read this as “tie myself to my parents’ house with said hollow wall mounts”

I thought you were staging a protest

I sautéed onions and sliced mushrooms and sliced grape tomatoes  in some butter , then browned chicken breasts in the same pan (after removing the veggies to a warmed bowl)

Then put the veggies back in,  topped the chicken with slices of roasted red pepper and slices of smoked Gouda.

I added some Marsala wine to the pan and let the cheese melt.

Served with rice pilaf

Today was quite cold out, we opened the doors of the soup kitchen 15 minutes early when we realized there were 25 or so people waiting in the cold, many  with insufficient warm clothing for the weather
