I thought Mack & Mabel was really quite wonderful, one of the best Encores! presentations. The lack of enough rehearsal time occasionally showed in less inspirational moments in the staging, but the cast was wonderful, the orchestra glorious, and I would love to see it one more time.

After the show I dragged DR vixmom and former DR Ben while I said howdy to friends inb the lobby. Joshie showed up to see where I was sitting and check on me. Then DR vixmom and Ben and I went to the corner coffee shop for some dinner. When I last saw them, they were heading south for DR vixmom to check the half-price booth for a show tonight.

Friends in LA that heard from other friends that we are grandparents have been congratulating us. We also received a card in the mail today congratulating us on our granddaughter.
