I forgot to acknowledge The Lone Ranger. I don't remember which westerns we watched, but certainly that one, and unfortunately our westerns were never anywhere near the number of sitcoms and variety shows. Speaking of which, the one I mostly remember from my very earliest days is Jack Benny.

I'll still go out later for a drive, just for the car's sake.

As BK says, they've gotta be kept in shape. I can do a convenient three-to-file-mile circuit through the nabe and enjoy the fresh air as well. It keeps the battery charging, and the tires from whatever wear results when the car just sits in one spot.

And Lordy, I still have my snow tires on!

But at least I'm not wearing 'em down.

DR VIXMOM no my congressperson is Jim Baird.....I am in district four. He lives in Greencastle and has attended Putnam County Playhouse on occasion.....

Miss Trey Hollingsworth is a disgrace - but then again.....a lot of politicians are. His was a mean and dirty campaign but money prevails......

Local television is broadcasting the funeral of a female police officer who was shot and killed in the line of duty last week.

It is being held at the IMS but no public is invited.....fellow officers are staying in their cars.....

It is all very sad.

Yes DR VIXMOM this here site was most essential during those weeks.

DR JANE it was such a whirlwind, I really didn't allow myself to have a negative thought - I figured that was counterproductive. The only time I really had a few sobering moments was when I was getting readied for surgery. My brother & sister had talked to me and left the room, the doctor came in to talk....and then I was alone ALL BY MESELF lying in that bed as the anesthetic dripped into me.....and all I could think of was "The Road Not Taken".....

I am glad for you and your good attitude.

Oh yes, but then I normally have so many of the symptoms like the headache I have. I can still smell and taste and my head does not feel as it is going to explode
