Pending a proper investigation by the authorities, I suspicion there's a mile thief working BK's neighborhood.

In Station Eleven, the writer kept on about gasoline getting stale over time. I wonder if that’s what stole BK’s miles.

I wonder if DR Elmore found his La Valse score.

I wonder why I never had one. I looked through mine yesterday, and was surprised to find I have Bolero in a nice study size score (Durand?) which must have been a very early acquisition. I became enamored of Bolero in high school. See, I was light years ahead of those people who discovered it in "10".

My only other Ravel is the Dover reprint of Daphnis et Chloé in full score. I apparently never had La Valse or anything else.

I finished kitty cleanup, took garbage to the basement, posted two Netflix discs, and hit the corner bodega.  I'm on my second cuppa coffee and pondering what to do about breakfast.  I'm craving apple pie, but I have none.

My DH is talking about grocery shopping tomorrow. I want him to order online and pick up. I don't think we need anything, but I guess there must be something he wants.

Our local theater has announced postponement of the rest of the season. I'm sure they will cancel the last three shows, but are trying to find a way to still to do it.

I wonder if they'd consider a high quality recording and give the ticketholders a link.

The two shows I have tickets for are Rocky Horror and Something Rotten. I traded the tickets to Hair for something else earlier in the season.

Truthfully, the reason I wanted to see Rocky Horror was to see the matinee audience's reactions.

I know it looks kind of weird, but I just want to see in my kitchen.  And since they're LED and there's no ballast, they're silent!

It looks nice.

I finished the very long intro to The Decameron last night. I had just finished Day 5. The audio version of one story made no sense. Turns out, it was the story of a gay man who married a randy wench. He catches her lover and it turns out it was a young man he had his eye on. They come to a truce, and they both have their way with him. No one was going to translate that, even in the early 20th century. The depiction of the gay man was ugly, but the story was fun.

Dr Glickman, the urologist, just called me.  The hospital is opening up next week for surgeries and my two surgeons wanted to know if I was ready to go back to two days in hospital.  I suggested the week of May 25.  I want to know things are settling down/

Friends who have been ready to ignore the virus invited me out to dinner Friday. I said I wasn’t open yet.
