Well, you've read the notes, the notes were May-like and certainly lusty, and now it is time for you to post until the lusty May cows come home.

  • A person should celebrate what passes by.

Speaking of listening to music, I was going through videos on YouTube and just happened to come across this compilation:  Spaghetti Westerns Music:
Quote
The Spaghetti Westerns Music – The Greatest Western Music of all time created and composed by Maestro Ennio Morricone. His acclaimed masterpieces all in one special collection.
More than 50 years ago Ennio Morricone revolutionized the concept of Cinema and Film Scores by giving a new and innovative chemistry between images and music. With his unique touch, Maestro created a new music genre, the “Spaghetti Western Music”, a legendary genre recognized worldwide and still inspiring generations.

Pretty cool.

And then there was a link to Sergio Leone Greatest Western Music of All Time.
Quote
Sergio Leone, one of the greatest movie directors of all time wonderfully soundtracked by his friend Maestro Ennio Morricone.

The two music videos don't have the same number of musical selections, so there might not just be pieces missing from one of them.

And now, I'm off to bed.  I actually need to go in to work tomorrow for a bit.  I just need to pay the credit card, but there's only one charge on it (as of Wednesday), so it won't take too long, at all.

Have a good day, all!

I predict that this month of May, 2020, will be the least lusty in modern history.

I’m grateful for all of the shows that have been made available for streaming.
That tribute to Sondheim on his 90th birthday was the highlight of my year!

TCB, is there any chance that the thought of adopting a new cat would appeal to you?
I know.
It’s so difficult to even entertain that thought right now.

The move was set, the packing almost done....and now they can’t move me, as California is considered a “hot zone”. Keeping my fingers crossed for....August? September? October?
Who knows?

This opening of the country today greatly concerns me.  I'm still not sure surgery in three weeks is a good idea.  My biggest fear is that we're all victims of an idiotic and vain president and an apathetic administration who care more about their power and keeping that position tham public safety.

Last night we watched the second Doris Day-Rock Hudson un-PC comedy Lover Come Back, which has funny moments but never achieves the brilliance of Pillow Talk.  The casting is wonderful with marvelous comedians and comediennes - Edie Adams, Ann B. Schultz, Howard St. John, Donna Douglas - but it never gels.  The idea of battling advertising agencies for a non-existent product VIP is great, but the central plot of getting Hudson and Day together fizzles.  In Some Like It Hot, Tony Curtis' act of being sexually innocent to seduce Marilyn Monroe works because once you've accepted the two men as women and Joey Brown's chasing Jack Lemmon, anything goes.  In Lover come Back, Hudson - who looks great in a beard, BTW - pulls the same act, but it's impossible to believe that the brilliant ad executive Day plays would be so gullible and behave so stupidly.  I also coundn't buy the happy ending since I never saw once that Hudson actually fell for Day.

What worked?  Tony Randall, Edie Adams, Jack Kruschen's explosive attempts to invent VIP and the plot to sell a non-existent product and not be caught.
