Why are there so many knives for sale on the top of this page, by the way? Do ads pop up based on the name of the TOD?

George- Funny how we both mentioned PDQ Bach's Oratorio: The Seasonings. I probably don't think of cumin without thinkin of that.  Good to  know there's another fan on the board.

Just as long as you don't think about PDQ Bach when you are ..........

And who (without the help of IMDb) can name the movie score Peter Schickele did?

Speaking of unusual things in briefcases, does anyone remember the short-lived Herschel Bernardi (and Sue Ane Langdon--oy, how do I remember these things?) sitcom, Arnie, where the blue-collar worker got promoted to management.  The pilot episode had Arnie putting a brick in his briefcase so that it would like it had something in it.

Excellent vibes and xylophones for Rodzinski.

Watching The Dancing Millionairess from Hong Kong.  It's quite insane.  The first musical number occurs sixty-one minutes in, but it's eight minutes long.  The second number (these are really dance numbers, not songs) occurs about ninety minutes in and has been going on for about twelve minutes with no end in sight.  The first actual song has just begun.

I'd send you a sparkling prize, but I'm still waiting for mine from the last HHW trivia contest I won.   ;D

Good Evening!

Great second night in Indy.  I actually felt very comfortable tonight.  I was even able to have a little fun tonight while playing the show.  (Said "fun" will go undescribed - I can't reveal all my secrets. ;) )

-Don't go there, DR TCB... Ah, well... Too late...

;D

Another great audience!  There were a group of women in the front row who had all bought some Mamma Mia! t-shirts at intermission and changed into them for the second half of the show!  They were a hoot!  If this keeps up, DRs Ginny, JRand and Joey will have a hard act to follow!

I don't remember that show. But I do remember when I got to New York years ago, I thought I should lug a briefcase around to job interviews. Then I noticed nobody else seemed to have them. The briefcase seems to have gone the way of the typewriter.

I wonder what the longest continuous musical number is in US musical film history. What are good guesses?
"Bye Bye Life" from ALL THAT JAZZ?

Really??  My sister and I watched that when we were kids and hadn't seen it since.  A couple of years ago, I bought the DVD.  Well...it didn't age well.  I couldn't even finish it. ::)
