Restaurants here are starting to open up a bit more, allowing partial dine-in seating. I'm glad to see it, but a part of me still feels cautious. I'm interested to see how many people take advantage of it.

Beaches is opening Monday at 4:00. I will be watching closely to see how the week goes. I follow them on facebook and expect there will be photos.

In the it would be hilarious if it wasn't so predictable department: Governor Newsom has opened more stuff starting next week (although only in certain counties) - the reaction on Facebook is priceless: TOO SOON! THIS WILL BE A HUGE MISTAKE, BIG SPIKE COMING! Every one of these morons have been perfectly silent for the past week as thousands upon thousands took part in the protests, sans masks in a lot of cases, and jam-packed. THAT wasn't a problem at all, but if people do it at the beach it's the end of the world.

This will be her retirement home. Her parents live here and her husband may stay here. But she’ll be working from LA and Atlanta.

Went outside earlier to see the strawberry moon. But it was not to be. Too early at 9 pm for the moon to be up.

What I did get to see were plenty of fireflies skipping about. Beautiful.

I set an alarm for 15 minutes and went back to look at the moon. Indeed it was bathed in a strawberry glow and was huge on the horizon.
