Last night, we watched KISS ME, KATE starring my late publicity clients Howard Keel and Kathryn Grayson.

One of the great MGM musicals.

One of my prize possessions is a framed lobby card from the film that hangs on my wall. It's signed by Howard, Kathryn, Ann Miller and Tommy Rall.

I have a completely free day.  My only project, which I did not get yesterday, is to clean out this carton of food.  If I feel up to it, I need to go to a UPS store and returnb an Amazon item, but I can always do it tomorrow.

I'm getting so bored with this pandemic.

The only time we go out is to get the mail or to the grocery store, and I hate wearing the damn mask.

Maybe I'll do in Austin what they're going in Seattle: Occupy a six block area of the city.

Do you think I could do that by myself?

DR JRand69, I've been watching your Putnam County interviews, but I only see a couple!  Where are the remainder of them?

Friday morning greetings!  Today is the last day of the ALA virtual conference and the closing speaker is Natalie Portman.

BK, I think these kids today get the wrong idea of career-building, in part, from watching the talent reality shows like American Idol, etc.

I will continue to post here, but I do want to know how my work is going to be used.  I have notified my manager and he will be in contact.....this is necessary for my future career.

At age 69, I expect to have many more good years of work ahead of me and I do not want to be compromised by being associated with work that is NOT of my calibre.

Thank you.

I am late this morning because I went ahead and made the glop....it is simmering on the range.....home on the range.....

Which always reminds me of the basset hound in The People's Choice.....one time Sock asked her what she was doing sitting on the kitchen stove, and Clio answered in Mary Jane Croft's voice; "Now and then I get the urge to ride the range....."

Some jerk councilman in Arizona had the nerve to mock George Floyd’s final words in regards to wearing a mask

That's my councilman! See what I have to deal with? My area is one of the hotspots in town.

I am back from the dermatologist’s, where I had the second of my two MOHS procedures. The first was last October, to remove the spot on my cheek which had to be done then. This was the minor one on the side of my forehead that could wait. So now I’m complete, and I have stitches that will get removed a week from Monday.

You gotta wonder.

This guy’s attitude and response takes the cake, all things considered.

Boredom is a big issue.  Thank goodness for our walks, though they to have become increasingly boring.  Walking 7 miles a day on concrete all the time is also difficult on our bodies creating new issues.

I was rather concerned about Keith last night, and a bit about myself.  The symptoms of this virus are so crazy, and the new information is scary, it is difficult to know if we are having early virus symptoms or just other stuff going on

We are doing well enough for a walk, so I am off.  Hopefully it will get rid of my migraine.
