I've been searching on Google images for a quilt similar to the ones my dad's mother used to make in Appalachian Kentucky. Hers were beautiful. No luck, so far.

We have 7 buildings in our condo complex. Someone a few buildings over is having a lawn party. We can see too many of our neighbors socializing near each other and only one woman is wearing a mask.

Australia is, I think, an interesting case. They got their numbers down early on, then reopened and many people went crazy. Now they must deal with that.

Wow. I think this is great, and that the restaurant cared enough to report them.

Here gatherings up to 50 people are permitted so there is nothing I can do about it but stay very far away from these people.

I don't understand people. It's not that hard to stay 6 feet apart from people. It makes me so mad that some people are really trying, while others just aren't.

I don't think that is true. Even if gatherings of 50 people are allowed. I'm sure that they are not allowed to be right on top of each other.

I am looking at Washington States rules. I didn't seen that it isn't permitted, just recommended. Maybe George & TCB know something I don't know.

Got news today that a long-time family friend died last night. I think he was 96, which is a fine, long run. I saw him at Dad's funeral at the end of the year, along with four or five of their six kids. He had looked good then, but seemed a little frail. His wife died a few months before Dad. They had been married for 70+ years.
