Congratulations to George on his new plateau

Thank you, dear.  Just add me to your prayer list.

I like tales about people with SCHERZANDO, like Sybil and Three Faces of Eve.

Starting Porgy and Bess. I have never seen the show before, except a visually lousy bootleg of the Audra McDonsld/Norm Lewis version.

DR JANE I think Birdy Barnum sees the raisins as interlopers.

I keep adding a few because I keep thinking one day he will grab one and figure out that it tastes good.....

Funny.  It gives him something to do ;)

I was very surprised the summer I discovered the humidity made everything hurt more.   Being back on the west coast it is rarely a problem.

DR elmore I read that sometimes after a hip replacement the knee doesn't seem as bad.  If it still needs replacing it is best to do the hip first.  Do you have an estimated date when your hip can be replaced?

I never saw the Broadway one at all, and that's on purpose.

Last night I watched the opening scene of the MET one, and I wasn't as put off as I'd expected to be. Without dropping spoilers... yes, there are subtle changes in how the scene is portrayed, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Yet. There's plenty of opportunity for that in all the coming scenes, so I shall proceed cautiously, peeking through my fingers. I'll probably take in the next couple of scenes late tonight, then more tomorrow.

I successfully had a bath.  I had no problems getting into the tub, but I wasn't sure I was going to be able to get out.  It was rather precarious, and I was sure I was going to fall backward into it.

MEGA, MEGA vibes to Larry.

Might there be any sort of home help you're eligible for?

I love George's shirts and masks. Thanks for letting us know about your supplier. Now I must decide which ones I want most. How did you learn about them?

Bruce set me straight. The KL show isn't until NEXT Sunday. I remember now: tomorrow's the 4th of July.

MEGA, MEGA vibes to Larry.

Might there be any sort of home help you're eligible for?

I applied in March.  Then the pandemic hit and everything closed.  My 5th floor neighbor Ann just brought me chicken soup from Zabar's (deelish!) and yjtrr packages from the lobby.

Jane, my surgery is on Wednesday. If I'm coherent enough I'll post on Wednesday night. Otherwise, I'll try to contact Bruce. I expect to be coherent on Thursday, even if I can't be up and around.

Thanks for your concern.

You have wonderful neighbors. I suspect they are happy to help. Yes, Covid has made everything more difficult.

I'm up, I'm up - over ten hours of sleep, but up later than I wanted and had to immediately write today's cast stories - available now on Facebook - Jason Graae and Peyton Kirkner.

Currently 111-degrees in the Oaks of Sherman.  Is this normal?  I don't think so.  Just turned on the air for a bit since it's 81 in the house.  I'm not walking in this heat, I can tell you.
