Oh no. Several familiar place names in that article. Depressing.

Do either of you recall if I was ever in Good Stuff Diner with you? It looks so familiar.

What was the one we met former DR Matthew in? I'm thinking Eighth Avenue but I could be wrong.

Wasn't it the Westway Diner on 9th Avenue?

Grant hasn't been here yet - he did say morning so he has another ninety minutes but I'm hoping it's soon in case it's something he can't fix so he can get someone out here today.

Postmates charge dropped off a few minutes ago so I have my dough back.  Grubhub doesn't charge you at all until the order is on its way.

That's great, BK!

There are several apartment projects I could do if I get my energy and enthusiasm revved up enough to do them.

The story of my life! :o

Dear BK, finally caught up with your show last night. I loved it! I have watched other shows to do similar things, but yours is top notch. I especially liked the opening number and the title song from Smile, both were visually interesting and I’ve never seen anything quite like that before. I guess pre-recording the songs allows you to do this and it makes it special. I would love to see Pam Myers an Robert Yacko recreate a moment from Sunday in the Park... on future Kritzerland show. These shows have given me an opportunity to see them since I have never had the opportunity to see one in person.

I agree!  I was hoping that Pamela and Robert would have an on-line reunion.  And on one of the previous Kritzerland shows, I was hoping for a reunion of the two Karens:  Mason and Ziémba.  They were in the original And the World Goes 'Round together.

Kitty cleanup is over.  I heard a bit of the Bob Woodward interview on CBS This Morning, but at least half of it was lost to the noisy playing of Stella and Annabelle while I was cleaning the litter.

I have several of his interviews lined up to watch on YouTube.

Hard to do reunions with our show.  Since all the numbers are pre-filmed.  Although we did pull off a major miracle with The Grass Is Always Greener, I thought.

Sad to see this:

I've often gone to Good Stuff Diner with Ben and Anthony.   My friend Paul and I go every year when he comes from California.

That's too bad.  Of course, I've never been to any of these places, but it's sad that it's happening all over. :(

Grant came and it was indeed the pilot, so he restarted it and it probably will take a few hours to heat up - I tried the hot water and at least I got some warm coming out - not hot yet but warm.

The Broadway of the Upper West Side is beginning to look like it did when I moved in in 1980: closed stores and restaurants but no trash all over the streets and sidewalks yet, thank God

Do you now know how to restart the pilot?

At least they won't be doing inside inspections due to covid.  Each unit was tested for three (?) alarms.  Every test set off the alarms in every unit.  Considering there are seventeen units in our building, testing day was extremely annoying.

As usual these nights I can smell the smoke.  I seem to notice it more when I can't sleep than during the day.

I'm sorry. :(

Your bagels are different than ours.  I liked them but not as much.  I expect you prefer them.  Bryan thinks they are delicious.  I don't think you have my favorite egg bagels.  Do you have rye bagels?  I don't remember.

There are different bagel shops that have different varieties. But I prefer poppy seeds. My nieces love sesame seed bagels. I don't think that I have ever tried rye bagels.

My cousin sent me a birthday card with a $50 bill inside.  So I ordered pizza and mozzarella salad for dinner.

My brother was lighting a pilot light on a furnace in one his renter houses and burned his eyebrows off.
