Lordy, how much can one person bear?

I have resigned myself to the idea that there will be no sleep tonight.

But I've been told I won't be offered any solid food until I can, pardon the expression, pass gas. So there's  that.

The strange part, and I am sure DR elmore3003 can confirm this, is that whenever you have surgery in your abdominal cavity, there is air left inside that causes uncomfortable bloating, and then it migrates up into your shoulder area. Very strange, indeed.

The little joys in life.  Our air quality just touched on GOOD.

We have to find 'em where we can, don't we, DR Jane?

Ours tonight was a spectacularly clear view of the International Space Station.  We watched it out our breakfast room window approach from the southwest, then we went out into the front yard and watched it disappear into the northeastern sky.

WOW!

We received a video of Frejya kissing the baby in the mirror and smiling ;D :)

And we received a photo of Charlotte all wrapped up in the blanket that I knit for her, gazing into the eyes of her other grandma.

Awww 💜

It is still ugly outside and the air quality is still unhealthy, but the numbers continue to drop along with the rain.

It's really raining here in Tumwater! :D

Nice isn't it :)

Well, let's see how fast the disgusting Mitch McConnell tries to take advantage of Ms. Ginsburg's death.

I'm sure that no one will be surprised how quickly it happens. ::)

A very sad beginning to the New Year.

Hmm, the only time I remember pain in my shoulder was when I had surgery on my shoulder.

I have had two abdominal surgeries through my belly button.

DR Singdaw are you on iv pain meds?  I find it pleasantly surprising you are calling your pain uncomfortable vs painful.

It's a pretty cool sight!  I've seen the ISS while looking up at the stars and then I just happened to see it!  That's happened four times over the last several years! :D
