Being Bernstein's assistant can't have been an easy task.

I can’t put it off any longer: I must do some shopping today!

As of this morning, I am out of just about everything, food wise, and it’s time to stock up.

And then Bernstein's tunes from these pieces were re-worked into a Mass setting (separate from Mass).

I don't know about that, but here's Bernstein's "Soldier's Song."

And here's Louis Ganne's Chant National from Hans le joueur de flûte:

Oy! You should read his book!  The real villain is that fat diabetic toad Harry Kraut, may he rot in hell.  Did I say that?

I made some tuna last night, and I’ve been intending to ask what everyone else puts in their tuna salad.

When I have it all here, my traditional things were celery, diced black olives, and diced onions (not too much, even though I love onion). Fresh ground pepper and sea salt to finish. On occasion I’ve been known to add a pinch of curry powder.

Recently, though, in lieu of all that, I’ve just mixed in some sweet relish (a sugar-free one), which I’d never done before in all of these years, and it’s delicious. I’m not sure that the relish would be compatible with those other more savory items, so I consider these to be alternatives.

What else should I be trying?

The Seller from the Philippines has advised me that I should contact the post office (!) and ask my neighbors and friends....they'll let me know if they have any news....  LOL

I can't really open a PayPal dispute, because it's not their fault....so I would guess I'll never get what I paid for.  Thanks,
Fed EX!

Hard-boiled egg, sweet relish, and onion go into mine.

How can I have a 51 year old son?

I am 57.  At some point, in answer to the question "How old are your children, now?" my mother began answering:

Old enough to be out on their own.    ::)

Speaking of Lennie, tomorrow will mark the 63rd anniversary of the opening of the original production of West Side Story on Broadway in 1957.
