I bought Leonard a two-pack of those flopping fish toys. He played with one while the other one charged up. I gave him one after it charged up. He looked at it and walked away. Hasn't paid attention to it since.

I gave the other one to Sandra. Magdalena chases hers all over. She carries it to the top of the stairs and plays with it as it flops down.

Maybe Sandra will make a video of Magdalena we can all watch.

I removed two hours' worth of dead shrubs early this morning. My back was aching quite a bit.

I don't know if I mentioned it yesterday, but the City Yard Police drove by while I was working there yesterday. He slowed down and watched me working. I expect we'll get a citation in the mail in a couple of days.

Why if you were clearing it away?  This is just crazy what you are dealing with.

I made chicken strips and biscuits and stuffing today.....which means I heated two things up in the oven and poured the ingredients into a pan for the other.

I just wonder if unsubscribing from one email address doesn't generate email from another.

Keith tells me to just put a lot of stuff in spam instead.  If I subscribe again later I don't want them going into spam.

We are re-watching Valley of the Dolls, which I haven't viewed in probably 20+ years.

Speaking of cats, I just entered all of the corrections from one reader of my book, and tomorrow I shall look over the thoughts and suggestions of the other.  I flattered that both of them liked the book a lot.

My fifth floor neighbors Ann and Jen came by and climbed the ladder to put away the new delivery of cat food for me.  It was nice to see them.  They also brought me an apple cake to thank mne for holding their packages while they were away.

Most pit bulls are too large for my apartment, but there have been several pocket pitties I would have loved to adopt.  For now, alas, those days are past.

The black dog in this video is one-year-old Uni, a pretty little pocket pittie, the Manhattan Animal Care Center euthanized on Nov. 18, 2018. It still breaks my heart.

I got out for my first extended walk since being discharged. It felt good to get outside, and to move. I plan to be doing a lot more of this going forward.

I know how good that feels.  Di

When we lived in Ashland the driveway & road were too steep for me to walk without hurting my insides.  Fortunately we had a walkway that went around the entire house & I was able to slowly increase my circles.  I was very happy when I could finally drive to the park in town and take a proper walk.

Good afternoon!   I am done with my duties at church for the day, went to Trader Joes, stopped by Mom's to drop off cappuccino popsicles - her favorite - and had a great conversation.  Saw some other relatives as well and had lovely conversations.  Then I had to get home to fill out the rental application as I got a text form the manager saying that there were others interested and I should get it in ASAP. So, it's in, the fee is paid, and now we wait.

Sunday has turned into a work day it seems.  But then again, with Distance Learning and such, every day has turned into a work day as we are constantly working!  All good, of course.  Seriously, what else would be doing??

Last night I watched the new movie of "The Boys in the Band" on Netflix.  I don't know if I was underwhelmed?  Didn't know what to expect?  Forgot about the time in which it took place?  But I was a little unsettled at the end.  Maybe it works better on stage. I am also NOT a fan of anything Andrew Rannells does, so that didn't help.  I did see that the final season of Schitts Creek is on Netflix now as well, so I can finally finish that.

Back from ushering. It was a showing of Moana. I was stationed in the mezzanine, and we had no patrons up there. So, I sat and watched the movie. It was enjoyable. The audience down on the orchestra level applauded when it was over.

Continued vibes you get it.  I am guessing the manager likes you.
