I was just about to post this last night in response to a post from Jane:
I've been watching Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I vaguely recall watching the first episode and nothing after that.  DId you enjoy it?

I have been enjoying it.  I just wish it hadn't ended. :-\

No, I've been watching it from the beginning.  The first couple of seasons were a bit wonky.  They were still trying to decide where they were going and how they fit in the whole Marvel Universe, but they finally got their stride and turned into a good show IMHO (that's In My Humble Opinion, in Internet lingo ;) ).

And now, I'm off to bed because I have to go to work in the morning (damn Mondays!).  Fortunately, I did some laundry last night and washed my jeans so I'll have something to wear.  I have some clean shirts, so I didn't need to wash any of those.

Good night, Jane, and have a good day, all!

I had a pretty good night of sleep. Annabelle stayed with me all night, and Thatch and Stella made appearances.  This morning I need to snoop about in search of the source of Stella's racket.  It sounded as if she were rifling through my carton of rubber stamps.

We did not watch Close Encounters last night.  I got caught up in CNN programs.  I had already turned off the TV before Jake Taspper got into a tussle with that idiot supremo Lara Trump.  I'm sorry I missed that.

I like Francis Poulenc and Maurice Durufle, as far a French composers go.

Their music is generally published by Durand, and tres expensive.

I also like Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel, of course.

On DR Jennifer's mention, we tried an episode of Emily in Paris.  We watched the pilot, and will give if a few more tries. It is not unpleasant.

Thanks, all, for the good wishes today. The only thing I am worried about is that they'll be able to stop the bleeding before I attempt to drive home.
