DR Jane - when I was last on HHW, I was vegan. I had gotten away from that in recent years, but it seems I'll need to return to that state.
Which is really not a hardship. I found I adapted easily to that way of eating, and it agreed with me. It just takes a bit of extra planning.
I could be vegan if it included butter and heavy cream. And cheese. And meat.
First listen to a song from the new Anyone Can Whistle. Maria Friedman, like Jenna Russell in the first Sunday revival, seems into ACTING. I also found the balance off. Too much orchestra trying to drown her out. https://www.playbill.com/article/exclusive-listen-to-maria-friedman-sing-there-wont-be-trumpets-from-1st-complete-recording-of-stephen-sondheims-anyone-can-whistleI think I'll pass. I will say, I do like some other Yap recordings.
If you're looking for some ideas of books with a happy ending, check this out. I've read three and found four to put reservations on at the library. https://www.washingtonpost.com/entertainment/books/feel-good-books-2020/2020/10/17/4b1759fc-0fe1-11eb-8a35-237ef1eb2ef7_story.html

Today Texas became the state with the most Covid cases reported, passing California by several thousand. Its also second in virus-related deaths, after New York. Our governor must be proud. The numbers have been going up by about 5,000 every day.
DR Jeanne, our wonderful super Steve Trifun, when he retired and returned to Serbia, passed the job on to his son-in-law Bosko, who was sadly not his father-in-law, and management sacked him. Val replaced him.
Still sore. And shaking to Earth, Wind and Fire this morning with the bird was no a wise idea.
I accepted a bid from another contractor. He’s coming out next Wednesday.
I've cleaned off the top of the refrigerator, but I have no place to put anything inside it if I need to empty it. Sometimes a studio apartment is a pain in the ass when you need shelf space.
We installed our AC unit about 24 years ago. It has only needed repair three or four times, the most recent last June. We have been tossing around the idea of replacing it before it conks out for good. Personally, I think AC units should last at least 25 years, but I guess the standard is 10, which is ridiculous, in my opinion.
So there goes the Disneyland trip fund.
