I have always liked Gary Sandy, and I thought he was a good choice for THE MUSIC MAN; but as the Pirate King????[/b]

GASP!

Gary Sandy played "The Music Man"?

Oh.  Sad News!

You know how earlier everyone was talking about their favorite Mexican foods?

And I said a local taqueria made excellent quesadillas and tostadas?

Well, a co-worker and I went there for lunch today...and it was closed.  Shut tight.  Dark.  No signs.  No furniture inside.  Nothing.

HUGE mystery.

Had a tostada plate there just last week.

Had I known it would be my last....

...well, I don't know.

Sob!

Bruce I will have to ask my friend what he thought of his meal at the orthodox Seder.   I suggested you eat first because the Seder was bound to last forever and you would be starving before the meal arrived.  ;D

DtM-from last night-LOL.

George thanks for sharing COWBOY JOSE.

Jose your nephew is cute, just like his uncle.  And your niece just melts my heart.  Beautiful pictures, such a good looking family you have.

And in the DC metro area, if you call that number from the 703 area code at least, you will hear the song!  And I've tried it in a couple of other cities with the same results too.  Of course, it's been a few years since I've tried/called, so...

Maybe we could do a sort of HHW experiment today....

;)

I just called the number and it doesn’t work, from Ashland anyway.

from the 516 area code I got a fax machine and from the 631 a busy signal.

Oh, I tried the 703 area code and got an answering machine.

Does anyone know if Walt Disney has some kind of block in their manafacturing of their DVD's that prevents them from being played on computer DVD's? I am having problems with them, but no other DVDs

A song for DR Jennifer's B day

JENNIFER
1971
Funny how so many moments slip away
The things I meant to say
I should have said them all before today
To Jennifer, Jennifer.

Funny how you'd smile and always understand
When I got out of hand
Have you forgotten all the fun we planned
My Jennifer, Jennifer?

And now you think you're getting in my way,
And all I want to do is find you, and remind you
Even if I may become a star someday
I'd give it all away
If it meant that I couldn't always stay
With Jennifer, Jennifer.

So now I'm begging you to come back home
You'll never have to be alone
We'll be as we were
My Jennifer.

(Written by Peter Allen and Carole Bayer Sager, Sunbeam Music Inc. BMI.)

Nice page, Shayne.

Vinnie will be going over to Mr. Geissman's all day tomorrow to  transfer everything into Pro Tools.  Should they not finish, then they'll work on Thursday, too.  Horn date will be on Saturday, I'm told, then Vinnie must transfer that stuff, too.  Then vocals on Monday and Tuesday.

Good Evening!

Well, I hope it at least gets better...

I'm at the Apple Store right now.  Apparently, my logic board died on my iBook.  So...

We shall see...

UGH!

Laters... I hope!

WFO we rally enjoyed the last episode of NUMBE3S.  Did you see it?  We find so many medical errors when watching HOUSE (love it anyway).  Do  you have similar problems with NUMBE3S?

Ah, well...

My laptop is officially dead - or at least the logic board.  Thankfully, it's still under warranty, and I should have it back by Friday.  So...

*Of course, my old laptop is up in DC right now, so...

Ah, well...

Laters...

DR RLP - eating places have the habit of disappearing without notice.  At least you weren't a member of the staff who showed up for work!

DRMS - I just tried a Disney DVD at random (.....Family Band) and it would not play in my computer.

Well, I'm back from dinner with DRRodzinski, and I have some music to finish before the night is over.  We had a tasty meal at Artie's but I think our waitress was amused by neither our charm nor our dinner choices.

I forgot to mention Mexican food earlier:  the seafood burrito at my fave margarita joint, La Cucina.  It's a huge burrito filled with beans, rice, guacamole, sour cream, crab, shrimp, and scallops.  Quite yummilicious.

Back to work.

A friend of mine sent me this joke:

Friars, behind on their belfry payments, opened a small florist shop to raise funds. Since everyone liked to buy flowers from the men of God, a rival florist across town thought the competition was unfair. He asked the good fathers to close down, but they would not. So, the rival florist hired Hugh MacTaggart, a thug in town, to "persuade" them to close. Hugh beat up the friars and trashed their store, saying he'd be back if they didn't close up shop. Terrified, they did so, thereby proving that. . . .
