Considering how he's treating Santa Claus (Sydney Greenstret), it's a bit bizarre to be introducing the audio edition of my one-person play, PETER LORRE, during the Christmas season.

Blame ACX, not me.  🙂

Nevertheless, Bill Schafer does a marvelous job as Peter Lorre in the play, which can be downloaded via Amazon, iTunes and audible.com.  The play is also available in paperback and Kindle editions.  Performance rights are available.

Great photo, and he does look like Peter Lorre.

It IS Peter Lorre!

I thought is was an actor who was a perfect double for Lorre ;D

DR Jane was right - the benefit was tolerable online, and it was a stream, not a Zoom, so we needn't have dressed up.

I am laughing about having dressed up for nothing but glad it was tolerable. Maybe beind dressed up put you more in the mood ;)

It was to raise money for JFCS - Jewish Family and Children's Services. A worthy cause.

Yes, that is a very worthy cause.

Just watched the first two videos on Alvin Ailey. All I want to do is dance. And they had some socially distanced pieces that you don't need a partner for. Plus, they have classes online, including zumba for people like me who need to start moving again.

How is your dance partner's husband doing?

And stop a bird from screaming in my ear, even though he's half a house away.

Here is the link to the Zoom ACC.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PYdcj-Cy8Q&feature=youtu.be

Tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET.  About 50 minutes.  I give it a 5.5-6 out of 10.....technically it's fair.

Best parts are the Ghost of Marley and the scary ghost at the end....  Scrooge does a nice job.....

It is what it is.....

Thanks for the link, Jrand!

I've been watching Scrooge this morning, because, well, I never miss an Alec Guinness musical.

That's as good a reason as any!

Topic of the Day:  I haven't made it in a while, but I make a pretty good lasagna.  I take any recipe from either the box of noodles or the container of ricotta cheese and double everything except the noodles. :) Delish!

Today, I went to my sister's, and my mom, my sister and her daughter all played Scrabble.  Actually, we played Super Scrabble that has the extra large board.

The good news: 2020’s first batch of caramel corn is about to come out of the oven and it smells delicious  :D

The bad news:  our microwave died  >:(

Rest in Pieces Peace, Ginny's microwave oven.

We have to attend an online charity event tonight. Because an in-law is a co-sponsor. Frankly, I am not enthused about having to shave, shower, and dress up. But duty calls. It could be worse: I avoid in-person events like this like the plague.

No pun intended?? :D

We had our church zoom party. I didn't realize there was a prize for the gingerbread houses. I won a $50 Visa gift card. Nice.

Congrats, John!

For those that revel in Christmas music, here is a free, 24/7, commercial-free classical Christmas music stream link from KUSC in California:
