Today I have a car coffee date with my recently-widowed friend Rebecca.  She has been quite withdrawn and I’m not sure what to expect, but I’m looking forward to seeing her.

I am glad Rebecca is getting out, if only in her car.

We won't be having a Christmas tree.  We haven't had one since moving here.

The Big Issue is a magazine sold by homeless, recovering addicts, and other street denizens in London. Good Afternoon!  Nothing exciting to report.  Apartment is still not totally together, I'm hopeful each day LOL.  All I have left are several boxes of misc things.  Things that I look at and wonder why the heck did I choose to put those in a box and bring them to the new apartment.  I'm starting a trash bag tonight.  I think I do have a good method of unpacking them and I think once it gets started, it will be finished quickly.

I watched the Albert Finney "Scrooge" the other night, which is one of my favorite Christmas Movies.  Tonight, I may try a different telling of the story as I unpack.

Actually, Rebecca did better than she thought she would today and better than I expected.  We’re going to do car coffee again before Christmas.

DR Jane I think that covid vaccinations are supposed to start in my province on Monday. They have listed the order to receive them. I am category 10 of 12 (only kids and pregnant women are after me).

First are senior long term care facilities (there were huge outbreaks there in Quebec). Then health care workers.  Then 80+. Then 70+.
