Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

So, just out of curiosity, all those planned rallies/riots beginning on the 17th and culminating today - has one of them actually happened, aside from one gun-toting ASS being arrested at a checkpoint two days ago?  Because those were the threats - so, all hot air?

I think the 25,000 National Guard members added to existing police, FBI, and Secret Service May have had something to do with it.  Not to mention the leaders who have been arrested for their actions on 1/6/2021.

I enjoyed all of the performances and readings except one.....but that's okay.

I also thought I heard JRB say that Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation on January 20, 1963.....but it was probably my hearing....

Your hearing.  It was January 1st.

And it was 1863.

Aida - tremendous performance and sound. So far, I like this better than Traviata.

That's cool!  But how does it compare to Elton John's Aida?

;)

Anything would be better than that.

I don't doubt that, at all.  I bought the CD when it was released way back when, but there's only one song that I still remember...and it was the only one that I remember that I really liked, "My Strongest Suit."  I just like that song. :)

Well, this is an interesting little HuffPost article:  ‘It’s Over’: Devastated QAnon Believers Grapple With President Joe Biden’s Inauguration.

A look inside QAnon’s virtual inauguration watch party, which went horribly wrong.

I read an article in the NY Times that the Proud Boys are now mocking Trump  for being weak.

You'll have to go there to see it because I'm wearing a t-shirt with an "offensive" word on it. ;)

You wore that to work  :o

Inauguration Evening greetings!  We’ve been in front of the TV most of the day, but we just came in from the front porch where we watched the International Space Station zoom across our western sky.

Perhaps we could send Trump there?

Why, yes I did!  I did wear the Hawaiian shirt over it, and only showed it to people who I knew would agree with the sentiment. :D

Scumbag Trump in his air escape speech just said Malaria was "so popular . . . soo popular." Maybe among her former johns.

This speech, by the way, is pathetic, nothing but nonsense and whining.  I hope the plane crashes on its way to Florida.

That is a terrible thought, Elmore.  What about the crew and staff who are also on the plane.  And then there is the replacement cost for Air Force One at over $5 billion.

Actually, I'm not FB friends with any of the people to whom I showed my t-shirt.  I just knew that they'd appreciate it...and they did.
