I was so tired I went to bed at 8:00 and slept quite well. I had lots of dreams but now I only recall snippets of them. It was chilly so I spent some of the night fighting three cats for bed space.

Last night my TV remote died. I tried replacing the batteries and that was a dud. So, around 9:30 I will step out to the nearest Time-Warner location and pick up a new one.

DR singdaw - the Merrie Melody and Looney Tunes cartoons along with the MGM cartoons are on each morning from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. on MeTv......if you can stand the host and his puppet.

They also have a two hour block on MeTv from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturday morning.

I also really find Kathryn Grayson's voice very strange. In the upper registers her voice HURTS to listen to......Jane Powell is the same way.

Deanna Durbin sang the same notes - sometimes the same songs - and her voice didn't do that.....nor did Jeanette MacDonald's voice for the most part.

It's rainy and unpleasant outside. I should have put the things I needed instead of my cloth traveling bag and every is now quite wet. I got to 96th Street, walked into the Spectrum store, told the man I needed a new remote, he gave it to me, and I was out of there in five minutes. The worst part when I got home was programming the remote since I really do not know what thew hell I am doing. Everything works, so I guess I did it right.
