It's good to hear that Dropbox has confounded more than just yrs truly.

I really hardly use it, myself. When someone sends me something or shares a folder, I have no problem dealing with that. But the whole confounded syncing my own files thing confounds me.

Here's one question:  I'm a nut about everything being backed ups. So if I have a set of files only in the cloud (Dropbox) and NOT on my hard drive, that set of files only exists in one place. Now, I know these companies probably have umpteen backup systems themselves. But let's say their whole enterprise is targeted by evildoers and Dropbox goes poof. What's "my" backup in that event?

I liked DR TCB's story last night.

I am always grateful to my doctors and let them know it - but they usually just say "thank you" and move on.

The Big Ladder is put away. I had to climb it twice, and now my legs and back are killing me.  The cats have about two months of food set out, and everything is has been put away.

Here's what's left of the January 31st nor'easter on March 9th.

We're in the mid-50s today and tomorrow, then high-60s for a couple of days. That should all but take care of it.

I was really geeking out at the Assassins chat last night. But I have to say, Patrick Cassidy only learned one lesson from BK. The songs were prerecorded. All of it should have been. Too many people floated in and out, lost connection, froze up. Never really heard from Jerry Zaks or Jonathan Hadary.

I'm up, I'm up - maybe three hours of sleep. Couldn't sleep at all for most of the night, up at six-thirty, back in bed by eight or so, and then these jerks next door have their tree trimmers today, of course, the noisiest in history and they're still at it. So, no more sleep today, I'm afraid.

I have finally reached the 250 mark of ushering at the performing arts center in town. (I just can usher as often as some of the retirees who have notched 400+ performances).  This means I get offers of a free ticket if a show has extra seats available.
