Went to the library for a rather hefty pickup. One was the complete Ives symphonies performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Another was a 600-page "Book of Dreams" from Federico Fellini; oversized and slightly undersexed.

I'm not sure what would make me feel comfortable again around a lot of people. For some of us, I think that a lot of the Covid protocols will stay in place, just in a modified fashion. There was so little flu this past winter, which I have no doubt was due to the protocols.

I was expecting my stimulus check yesterday, but it didn't show up. The IRS site said it'd be "mailed" on Mar 26. Mailed? as in USPS? Both of last year's checks were Direct Deposit. I guess I'll have to wait and see.

I'm walking down to my brother's house in a bit for some masked visiting and viewing of old home movies.....they have been digitized so the time-consuming ritual of setting up the screen dragging out the projector and threading it have been banished to the past.

One of the features will be a movie that I made by shooting scenes with my brothers and sisters and parents and splicing in scenes from The Amazing Colossal Man and Earth vs. The Spider - which I found in Super 8 somewhere or other.....

I'm sure it will be just as good this time as it ever was.
