Margo's cats have always been aloof, but maybe because everyone's been gone (including Margo's fairly new dog), her cat has been more friendly and has (finally) let me pet her!

The director Tom Graeff played the newspaper reporter Joe under the name Tom Lockyear......and he and David Love - the hero - were lovers in real life......and the dialog was prerecorded and the actor's talked back to the recording to save dubbing costs or something.....

The making of the movie is more interesting than the movie - although I have kind of a soft spot for it...... because of the relationship between Derek and Betty. [most of the links in the article no longer work.....]

I always confuse that film with THE SPACE CHILDREN.
