Well, you've read the notes, the notes shouted bravo and mentored, and now it is time for you to post until the mentored cows come home.

Topic of the Day:  so yesterday, I came across this video that's been up since December 2015.  It's a concert of the music of John Williams, with Gustavo Dudamel conducting the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the Walt Disney Concert Hall.  There are interview moments between Gustavo Dudamel and John Williams and others, but they're all dubbed in French, and you can't hear what they're saying in English.  But it's a good concert!  Here's the link:

That mentoring session sounds great. I hope that teenager appreciates the distillation of knowledge she's getting.

I had a rather good night of sleep, but Jerry Herman's "It Takes A Woman" kept running through my head. Mayber I do need DR vixmom to bring that carton up to my apartment and then kick Mark's butt?

Actually, I would love a visit from DRs vixmom, ChasSmith, or others.

Today I must organize cat food. I got the Big Ladder out two days ago abd brought several cartons of Fancy Feast down and then ordered ordered more, the reason for delivery of one of the Chew.com cartons yesterday. Now I must organize their breakfasts and dinners for the next month or so abnd put the remainder away, which means getting the Big Ladder out again.

Then I took all the cans of Fancy Feast that my cats refuse to eat down to my neighbor Katy's apartment for her cat Lola.

I am very happy to see that BK has fallen for the macabre charms of Balanchine's La Valse. That and the City Ballet's full-length ballet Coppélia are two productions I really want to see live.

The City Ballet's Coppélia - choreographed by Balanchine and one of his ex-wives, the great ballerina Alexandra Danilova - was shown on PBS in 1978. It looks like the complete ballet was shown, but only Act Three is on YouTube.

DR George, that Stratford Festival production of King Lear is on DVD. I have it, along with several other Stratford productions.

The NYC Ballet in Paris disc sounds irresistible. I just put the Blup-Ray of it in my Save For Later.

Well, the 40 lb. carton still sits where I left it yesterday afternoon at the bottom of the steps into the lobby. I was really hoping some kind neighbor who carry it up to the lobby.  I can deal with it from there.

I've seen carts advertised with a wheel contraption that is supposed to navigate stairs.

Budweiser has a canned gin and tonic out. Avoid it like the plague. First sip tasted like the can with a touch of tonic. Second sip tasted more like the can. There was not a third sip.

Does anyone here know anything about this album?  It doesn't appear to be available for purchase, but at least some of it it available on the Tube of You.

Well, we just had some good news. Randy called me. We have an offer on the Ohio property if we are willing to drop the price by $10,000. Should we?

My neighbor Judy, during Passover, brought me a bag of coconut macaroons. They were stale and tasted like burning rubber smells.
