I have also spent quite bit of time lately in the "Way Back" machine, thinking about my high school drama teacher, because I learned Friday that he passed away in mid-April:

He made me the actress DR Elmore met in 1974 and he made me the theatre-goer I hope to be again someday.

RIP, Mr. Moldovan 

I saw your Facebook post about him yesterday, but I couldn't post. I think all teachers should hope to be remembered so kindly.

In the course of discovering this news, I had a six-degrees-of-separation encounter and that's what I want to talk to you about.  But it will keep until you have some things off your plate.  Just let me know!

Today we will hear the ministerial candidate preach, then we will have a quick vote to make him the official new minister.

We have had him as a guest speaker several times. Nice guy. Young with a family.

But one thing I'm worried a little bit about is that he has -- gasp! -- visible tattoos. I'm not sure what the conservative folks will think.

The PA I saw today was very nice and kind of cute.  He carefully counted out exactly how many pills I would need between today and Wednesday.  A total of 12 tablets.  The people at Rite Aid must of thought that I was being penalized or censored.

The PA’s wife (or husband) must be a little insecure.  His wedding band was about the same size as a life ring off of the Titanic.

  I am guessing he picked out his own ring.

TCB. I have discussed the matter with both brothers.  Only the residential department will be left after the elder retires. I have expressed my interest in staying they have expressed their interest in keeping me but I am aware that it will be completely dependent on how much business there is in the department since the other members of the department have been with him for years 10+ years.  So hopefully we are looking at a robust economy with lots of active residential real estate work in my geographical area.  They are also limited in that they have only 3 lenders with which they work.  I am used to working with firms with relationships with between 10-30 Lenders so it feels very eggs in one basket to me and that frightens me a little.

Sorry to have been away for a few days.  I had a big crafty project to complete for a luncheon tomorrow (finished last night!) and yesterday we had a small porch picnic to celebrate the 6th birthday of our great nephew J.  He came over with his Mom and Grandma and we ordered lunch from The Jug.  It was a beautiful day, so we we stayed outside even though all the adults have been vaccinated.

Thank you, DR Singdaw.  Mr. Moldovan was only at my high school for 2 years - my junior and senior years.  He came from and returned to a rival Detroit school.  I didn't stay in touch with him and his first wife after I moved from the Detroit area, but did look him up on Facebook occasionally and that's how I learned Friday of his passing.

DR Ginny, the cat food is sorted and most of the forms are filled out. Between 3:00-3:15 I feed the cats. Between 4: 30 I eat my dinner. At 5:00 I clean up my dinner and theirs. At 6:00 I lie down, chill with the cats, and never get up until 5:45 tomorrow morning. The pandemic has me a complete creature of habit.

I am just finishing up the movie First Cow, which, by all rights, I should have loved. It's a food movie, of sorts. But it was painful, and too many of the scenes were so dark, i couldn't see what was going on. Had the same problem trying to watch it at night.

So, I had the subtitles on and that just made it slower going somehow. A true slog.
