Ann Hampton Callaway has released a lovely new song, her setting of a Robert Frost poem now in the public domain, in tribute to her late father:

Now WHY, I ask you, would anyone design a floral swimsuit like this, to make it look like you're baring your left boob?

DR Jennifer we have dined out 3 times since returning home from Chicago.  They were all indoors.  All with partitions between booths.  Additionally, last night we were far apart from the other customers.

We didn't always have outdoor options in Chicago, especially at the airport.  We would not have felt comfortable doing any of this without having been vaccinated.

From DR Jennifer:
Quote
I'm super happy that they are going to be vaccinating kids from 12-15 before the end of the school year. As my older niece is 15. And my younger niece is turning 12 next week.

That's great.  I keep forgetting to ask our friend in Portland if she has made an appointment for her daughter who recently turned 12.

From DR John:
Quote
I got a phone call from my doctor. The blood work came back and seems to be relatively OK. This was an appointment right after lunch and my non-fasting blood sugar level was high.

Well, duh. It was right after lunch.

Good news.

When I did my A1C I didn't fast not realizing my glucose was included in the test.  Since I too had just eaten it was also rather high.  At first I was shocked reading the number then went, duh of course ;D

DR TCB & DR George, are you free for lunch, around noon, on May 31st?

Yes!  Where?? :D

Well, we are driving from here to Bainbridge Island.  Your pick as we are going right past you and Tom.

Now for the bad news. Yesterday my urologist's office called about scheduling a bone scan. This is to see how I'm looking in terms of bone cancer. It will be scheduled as soon as the insurance clears.

This is Max. The NYC ACC is going to murder this one-year-old pup on Monday if he is not adopted or fostered. He is so adorable. I wish I could take him.

I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep - got up at eleven-thirty and have been going through a vid and some tracks that we needed to tweak.

Jane, Some Days Are Murder is up on Goodreads now. I still haven't been able to get it on Barnes and Noble and am done waiting for them to respond. I mean, the book is there, but I can't upload the Nook thing. So, read it on your Kindle app.

Bruce I am not sure when I will purchase & read the book.  The light on my Amazon app is bright and disturbs Keith as night more than my library ebooks do.  If I am not done with the books I have checked out from the library before we leave for a road trip I will wait until we return to read it.
