Jane, are most people at the gym wearing masks? Is it a requirement there?

TOD:
I used toothpowder for a while in high school. I didn't find it objectionable at all.

For many years now I've used health-food-store toothpaste. I read about all the stuff in conventional toothpaste and made the switch. SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) is particularly harmful and I don't want it in my mouth. There are many brands available that don't have SLS and all the ones I've tried have been just fine. I avoid mint -- I don't like the taste and it can antidote my homeopathic remedies -- so that really limits my choices. I also don't want fluoride. I have no need for a sweet or tasty toothpaste. Like the old Tom's of Maine commercial said, "If you want something sweet have a dessert."

It is required though in the two days we have gone Keith has noticed a few people wearing their masks on their chins.  I have only seen masks worn correctly.

I forgot about Tom’s toothpaste. I did use it for a while in my early Trader Joe’s days because that’s where I first learned about it and bought it for what was probably a discount. Definitely not sweet, but I enjoyed it. I guess it’s still around?

I have used baking soda toothpaste on and off since I was young.  The last time I used it I decided it wasn't worth it.

I use Colgate, fresh mint, whitening sensitive toothpaste.  DR Jeanne I know, it also has fluoride.

I like minty toothpaste and don't have a problem with fluoride, so I usually just get an inexpensive toothpaste.  The last time I bought some, I got AIM from the local Dollar Tree.

I remember growing up in Los Angeles around 1970, the water was not fluoridated, and I had to take a little fluoride tablet supplement every day. I called it my "little purple pill." I didn't mind, because it tasted good. Probably packed full of sugar.

Watching the last half-hour of Uptight. It's interesting to see Roscoe Lee Browne's character as a homosexual who is both accepted and not by his society.
