While I think the shorts are far more attractive & comfortable looking than the bikini bottoms, I think they might have gone with shorts that are a bit more beachy looking.

But to require women to wear bikini bottoms and to bare their midriff when the men can wear long shorts and full t-shirts is not only totally sexist, but potentially unsafe! More exposed skin means more sun exposure and more of a chance for skin cancer!

As soon as I got outside, I realized that it's too darn hot (a Cole Porter reference) and there's not a single f*cking cloud in the sky (a John Buccino reference).

True. I personally would not want to play a sport wearing those little bottoms.

Went to Gelson's and got a chicken Caesar. The full-size is now basically what the small version was and the small version is still what it was, so that's probably the better buy.

A review by Publishers Weekly was a perfect example of why I try to avoid reading reviews prior to reading the book. It gave away part of the story that isn't mentioned until near the end of the book.
