I think most skin cancers are a result of sunburns we had years ago, and they don't generally stem from a recent one. Though maybe a new sunburn can trigger some as-yet-unknown problems? Just keep an eye on yer skin and show anything questionable to your doctor or a dermatologist.

FYI, my treatments, from the simple freezing off of pre-cancerous things to the surgical removal of those that are the next level up, are definitely blamed by my dermatologist on childhood sunburns to fair skin.

I'm up, I'm up - about seven-and-a-half hours of sleep. I got dressed right away and went and did the banking, to get that over with. Check cashing bank was, as always, instant. BofA, three ahead of me and one teller, so that took ten minutes.

I don't have anything like aloe, so I put on some Neosporin...I hope that it at least helps.

It can actually make it worse.  I would only use it on blisters if I was concerned about an infection.

I am sure you are fine.  It just can be irritating to the skin.  I keep Polysporin in the house as it doesn't contain the irritating neosporin.   I use it to prevent infections from regular burns since the one time I didn't use it my hand got infected.
