I am having very mixed feelings, a lot of what I am reading I certainly would not consider sexual harassment, I have had co workers and bosses touch me and speak to me in a similar fashion it it was never considered to be anything more than friendly informal banter

I haven't read the recent allegations but what I had read didn't seem like a big deal.  If you don't like it and have the option to express yourself then I don't consider it harassment unless the behavior continues.

Because all he did was touch, and not in inappropriate places.  Lesson learned though, he seems to have stopped touching in pubic  ;D

I completely agree with this Cuomo stuff - it's ridiculous and needs to stop.

Thanks to all for the vibes for my SIL.

She has had a rough time of it.  She did come home yesterday....when my sister and I were there she was taken out for a swallow test.  At that time and woman came in and started to talk to us about palliative and hospice care....

I finally had to say...."I'm just here for a visit - this is unexpected for me....."  It was very hard

We left when she went to bed for a nap...and my brother went up to visit and bring her home later that afternoon.  I think she is probably going into hospice care this week.

:(

I mean, "received an unwanted kiss on the cheek from the governor" - They'd have to find 99% of the world guilty of this horrific crime of kissing someone on the cheek at a wedding. There are two reports, I believe, of women saying he touched them on the "buttocks" but I'd have to see those reports in full. But a kiss on the damn cheek?

I am very pleased to read this...

"While the uptick in shots has been most notable in the states that have been recently hardest hit by the coronavirus, the entire country is experiencing a rising vaccination rate."

It's about time.

I just received a confirmation text regarding my upcoming hair appointment.  I was pleased to read masks are still required.

I don't have a fancy upside-down signed copy like DR George, but I just checked my Kindle, and Amazon delivered the new Lapine book on schedule.

I woke up just before 5 am and couldn't go back to sleep. I was able to get a few things done this morning, but not the much-needed trip to the car wash. And I have now reached the zombie stage. Ugh.

More moving day vibes to John G and his mother. I'm sure this process has been made much easier by your mother's decision to make the move.

My feelings about Cuomo are much like Vixmom's. Some people REALLY don't like to be touched AT ALL and consider any touch an assault. Some men I've known have no sense of what is welcome to most women. So many viewpoints! So much confusion over what is acceptable. Cuomo, IMO, is one of the few who showed leadership during the early days of Covid, and I hate to see him fall.

Apparently he told her she made  the medical protection gear she was wearing “look good” .  Not sure how infusing a bit of levity into a potentially awkward and scary medical procedure translates to sexual harassment

Today at my medical appointment I received a compliment on the flower in my hair.  Should I have been offended?
