I'm up, I'm up - eight hours of sleep. I was up most of the night and morning so I just stayed in bed after being up for over ninety minutes at seven - finally fell asleep at some point and even though most of the day is done, glad I got the eight hours.

I miss singing all the High Holiday services. I found the liturgy profoundly beautiful. Before I left the East Coast for the Midwest, I sang at the same Reform synagogue for about 12 years.

Finished the little piece of special material Cindy Williams asked me to write for her - I think it came out well - hopefully, she'll like it.

Picked up packages and got Subway for food. At what point did Subway, the leader in what they do, start to copy Jersey Mike's, who came well after? Subway now has three sizes of sandwiches, just like Jersey Mike's - and I have to assume the largest of them is longer than a foot-long, same with the six-inch, as their mini is pretty small. The calorie count for the largest sandwich has gone up by two hundred in every case, which is why it has to be larger than a foot-long. Weird.
