We had some excitement here yesterday.

Construction trucks were going down our alley doing some regrading or something. We hurried to get to the alley when a BIG bulldozer-type-truck was coming. The driver could see us over the fence, so he slowed down. Then when we opened the gate, he backed up, (Beep beep beep) and waited while Grandson had a chance to look at the truck and touch it.

That's all he talked about the rest of the day.

"Gwamma, it's a MONSTER TRUCK bulldozer!"

Very sad about Peter Palmer. I saw him and Brandon Maggart in Lorelei with Carol Channing when it played Cincinnati. The cast was good, but the show stank. Brandon Maggart just posted on Facebook that Palmer died on his daughter's porch, watching her horses run about.

At least we have his definitive Abner Yokum on film.

It's supposed to rain on Friday. Maybe I'll book the appointment for Monday after my flu vaccine.

So, I had our roofing guy come out this morning. They put on our roof 15 years ago. He took a look and gave us an honest assessment. He told us to let the roofer that the AC company called do the fix. But we don't need to reroof the whole house as their guy said we needed to.

He said he is going to have the rep from the shingle company come take a look, as we lost more of the granules than we should have.

I'd like some of your rain, Elmore. I'd even get the buckets out. It's been a while since we've had rain.

Wednesday morning greetings!  My test was NEGATIVE!

Wonderful news though I am not surprised.  Now keep it that way.

Thanks, DR Jane.  I WAS surprised, considering Richard and I are together 24/7.

DR Ginny, I forgot to mention yesterday that I got the nicest letter and birthday gift from Jim Martin in yesterday's mail.

DR Elmore, that pleases me so.  Give him our best when you next communicate.

We’re having so much rain the porch work was suspended for today.  Tomorrow’s not looking much better.

Had to take a prescription back to CVS. The drug is packaged in 30-day bottles, sealed and with a fresh thingie in it. Well, one bottle was open and half the pills were missing.

Pharmacist: Oh, you weren’t supposed to get that.

Well, duh.

John did the pharmacy take the opened bottle back?  I thought if you walk away with it then you keep it.  I try to check for errors before I walk away though I have missed doing so.

I always check I have the correct pills before taking them.  Twice I was given incorrect medication.

From George:

Or delete some.  I have to delete my internal memory's cache every few days to free up space, but I've been looking at new phones that have more memory. Then I won't have to worry about it for a very long time!

You have to hold your finger on the app to delete it, right?

I want the new mini iPhone except the reviews have said they disconnect from hearing aids which is a big problem for me.

Yes, tap and hold until a dialog box pops up and you should have the option to delete...unless it's one of those apps that was preinstalled on your phone and can't be deleted.

Thanks.  For some reason I have problems making this work.  I also have difficulty moving the location of an app and have to ask Keith to do it.  I have no idea why.

Nice and honest, a great combination.  How long did he say to expect the roof to last?

Kate didn't get it from Bryan though she was vaccinated several months after he was.  I can't remember, did you get Pfizer or Moderna?

Yes, it should have been replaced but was it obviously their mistake?  Obviously to them, not just you ;)

That is super weird. So do you have to isolate from each other or is he not contagious anymore?

Well, waking up at 5am today didn't help.

We had Moderna, and Richard's symptoms showed up 6 months TO. THE. DAY. from our second dose.

Don't be alarmed if I go "quiet" this evening.  My sister, niece, and I are doing a virtual crafty event weekend after next and tonight is the online unboxing of the supplies that were included in our registration fee.
