Jeanne, with David, we plot together, come up with the characters together (although in this case, this was his initial idea so he had the characters - I did add some details to them and one key character). We work out the story beats and then, because he's still nervous about being in the same space, as we did on The Brain, we split up scenes - I'll write two scenes, he'll write the following two, and so it goes. When it's all done, we read through it and begin making it all of a piece.
