MR BK I gave my 5 year old niece a copy of the "ANNETTE THE GIRL NEXT DOOR" cd box set.

She loves all of the songs, but especially the Sherman Bros. ditties. She learned them after a couple of plays and is singing them everyday. Her favorite is DanceAnnette!

I just received the piano/celeste book for How to Succeed. They're using the reduced orchestration for ten players. It's a departure for this college because they always use full orchestrations and hire accordingly. This is for Covid.

DR Elmore: Do you know when the reduced score was created? These books are still handwritten, and only the original version of the show is available, not the revivals. MTI doesn't show a piano/celeste book for the standard orchestration. Is that correct, or an omission?

Questions, questions. If you don't mind, I'll scan and email a couple of pages so you can see how familiar this book looks to you.

Thanks DR CHAS SMITH. Those photos were from sometime ago, the little house is not so nice and the Big House is full of furniture....but hopefully they will sell quickly.

Remember in the movie The Greatest Show On Earth when the train with the circus performers was barreling down the track and ran into the stopped animal train and chaos ensued?

Well that is me today.....my aunt called to say that her refrigerator was leaking and she had to stay home and wait for the repair man today.

Since she is first in line to get her "memory" and check out the inventory.....so we are STOPPED until her fridge is repaired.....who knows how long it will take?

We turned in the new edition three years agfo - maybe four - and MTI has done nothing with it. As to your inquiry, I rememebr absolutely nothing about my work on the score. I didn't even know there was a 10-piece reduction!

I want to correct a post from the other day. I haven't read Elena Ferrante's The Lost Daughter. I've read her novel. The Story of the Lost Child. I thought they were the same book with a different translation of the title.

So, now I have to read The Lost Daughter.
