Don't know if anyone saw this, but CBS Sunday Morning did a feature on See's Candy, which was just discussed on HHW:

Sondheim had a job on the movie Beat the Devil. Anybody remember what it was?

Ann and Jen came down around 1:00 and assembled my new tea cart for me. I needed something that rolled because I can no longer carry the three cats' dishes or mine because of my right leg's deterioration. I can now wheel plates and bottles to and from the kitchen. After it was assembled they went out to the farmer's market and later brought me back a delicious sausage roll from a new bakery. After I fed the cats I took a bath, and now I'm ready for a nap.

My aunt has decided she just wants to tell us what she wants rather than come to the house......so the entire day was spent on the phone with she and my niece.

We think we got them what they want.....they didn't want to do a Face Time on the phone....they wanted to tell us "the plates in the big cabinet....."  ANYWAY hopefully tomorrow we can move on to the other 23 people on the list.

Goodness, I hope they got what they wanted.  Not even an exchange of texts with photos?

When I read stuff like that, or see pictures of masked audience members, I think, “I’d rather stay home.”

We don't want to wear a mask at a theater, but then we have a good sized tv.

Richard and I have each spent time today at the package-wrapping station I set up on our dining room table.  We’re usually at the table in the basement that I’ve talked about here in the past.  This year our basement is not fully put back together after the waterproofing and I figured Richard didn’t want to go up and down the steps a lot.  And we won’t be needing our dining room because, if all goes as planned, we’ll be with Charlotte and her parents.
