The Geese here aren't aggressive, nor were the ones in Ashland. In Michigan we would walk around a large pond and had to be wary of them.

What a crazy little day. Of the fifteen pages from yesterday, I managed to futz and finesse about eight of them, but I knew the final eight would need a LOT of futzing and finessing. But I ran out of time, had the Zoom with David Wechter, and then had to leave immediately for the early dinner with Robert Yacko.

We met at Art's Deli - I had the tri-salad thing and he had an omelet thing. We had fun yakking. Then I picked up some packages, then came right home.

Then I immediately futzed and finessed the other seven pages, making some major additions and a few deletions and smoothed out some poorly written stuff. And now, I can finally start some new pages. I may only do eight or nine today because I'm still a head of where I'd normally be. But by the end of this evening I'll be 100 pages in.

Wrote three new pages, took a break and tried to watch some thriller on the Firestick but fell asleep for about thirty minutes. Now, I'm eating the rest of the tri-salad and writing another five or six pages. After that, another break and then we'll see about writing an additional five before bed. I have to be in bed by three at the latest.
