Is Palingenesis what comes before Cleesexodus and Chapmanleviticus?

I went back to bed around 7:45, and nodded until almost 10:00. I've been feeling down, unmotivated, untalented, and afraid of the future, so I'd rather stay in bed and hide.

Just before 10, my neighbor Ann showed up. Last night I had asked her, if she went out today, to get me a half gallon of Lactaid, and she did, along with (I don't know if you need this) a bunch of bananas, a blueberry muffin, matzoh balls and chicken soup from Zabar's.

Watching Deborah Kerr and David Niven in Eye of the Devil. Sharon Tate, David Hemings, Flora Robson and more round out the cast. It’s all rather silly. And somewhat effective.

According to imdb, Kim Novak had filmed most of the movie but injured herself before completion. All of her scenes were reshot with Kerr.

She is simply the best. A wonderful neighbor.

One of my big projects was going to be laundering and changing my bed, but the housemates are more in need of the washer and dryer today so I'll wait and do all of that tomorrow. Which makes total sense, anyway, and how I should always plan it. I will spend time on other things that need doing around the house and, later, doing a quick shopping trip for a few groceries.

In yesterday's webinar on WSS there were mentions of Leonard Bernstein's castigating remarks to Jonny Green about the treatment of the score in the 1961 film. A couple of people said this info is easily found on the web. I'd like to read about it but I'm having no luck finding anything. Anyone know more about this, and where the info can be found? Maybe it's in a book and not on the web at all?

We had about an inch of s**w last night.  I have swept the driveway - didn't need to shovel....

My nephew is coming some time today and perhaps he can figure out why the driver's side seat belt in Smarty will not click.....

Good luck he figures it out!

Eye of the Devil has come to a bloody end. What a mess. Still it’s like a precursor to The Wicker Man. Donald Pleasance was an appropriately creepy priest with big ol’ bug eyes.

Feature No. 2 for the day is When Harry Met Sally …, which I have never seen. Michelle Nicastro is in the opening scene.

In When Harry …, the place where Meg Ryan buys her Christmas trees is next to a church right out of The Bishop’s Wife. Nice reference.
