There is more than one Nero Wolfe series, and two of those only lasted one season. None of them are with William Cannon, which is why I couldn't find it.It was William Conrad I can picture him in the role.

I would leave the appointment, realizing I hadn't retained one word of what he had said to me...

The driver on the trip must be the most clueless driver I have ever encountered. Even with the GPS he screwed up all the way home. Oy!GPS?I wonder if it helps in getting through the one-way streets and avoiding known traffic problems.I just never would have thought of needing GPS there, at least in that part of town. But I'm not a GPS user anyway, though I probably should be. I've tried it a few times on the phone, but I don't have it built into the car.Every AAR driver uses it. It's great in helping them get around the five boroughs,That would most definitely be a huge help.I might have to put a mount on the dashboard to hold the phone so it'll be more convenient to use it. But I have to get used to setting the phone app up, whichever it's going to be, and using it in general. I've just been lazy about doing it because I haven't gone anywhere I'm not totally familiar with in such a long time.

A Call from the Vatican! (a little Nine reference)
Jim Hutton was also in a nice Ellery Queen tv show that lasted a season or two.
It's nice to be expedited.
