DR JOHN G I read the Mel Brooks book last week.  I enjoyed it.  There are a couple of his movies I don't particularly like, so I just sort of turned through the pages on them.....

He did mentioned former DR CP in his chapter on The Fly - The Movie.

I am home. Access-a-Ride was great today. I manahed to get my pickup time changed to 11:30, and the driver was there by 11:05. It was great to see my accountant and his receptionist, ibly there was one glitch: I brought the damned wrong envelope and left all of my 1099s in the apartment.

I have two turntables:

ION PROFILE PRO plugged into an RCA 5.1 Surround Sound System here in the computer room.

Audio Technica AT PL 50 in the family room plugged into a sound bar.

And a Pyle Home USB photo/recorder PLTTB9U that will record a record to a thumb drive.  If I am doing that, I usually then put it on my computer and make a copy of it, and then run the copy through a free program called Audacity that cleans it up.

I spent much of the time beating myself up for screwing up things. Tomorrow I must go to the bank and get $40 in singles, and on Monday I must take the correct forms to my accountant. I am so angry at myself.

Thank you for the condolences. This has been such a difficult time especially for my dad, sister, aunt and nieces. We are all just completely heartbroken as my mom was the kindles most generous and giving person around.

I cried reading this even though I already knew it :'(  The more you are blessed with the person when they are alive, the greater the pain at their loss.  She will always be in your heart.

Elmore, give yourself a hug instead. It OK. It’s really OK.

Hugs to you, Jennifer. My mom was sick, then got better. We went to visit my in-laws, and she died while I was out of town. I've felt guilty about that ever since.

Hugs, Elmore. I'm glad at least that Thatch is coming around. Joshie was like that. But after he decided he loved me he was the best cat ever.

Leonard loves me, but only when he wants to. He will decide to love me and he'll walk back and forth over my lap, then sit and purr for a few minutes. Then leave.

Thanks, DR JohnG. My accountant said the very same thing. I'm not playing with a full deck these days, and that bothers me.

I have always wanted to get into the audio issues which bk and DR ChasSmith talked about. However, I've never seemed to find the time for the learning curve or indeed the equipment required. Still an interesting topic. I know DR George is pretty adept at this stuff, too.

My sister's boyfriend put a couple of programs on my Wondows XP computer, and since I still have that, I'm able to still do a few things.  I used Audacity but don't really like how it works as compared to the program that I have.  I forget the name of that right now, though.

DR GEORGE what software does your theeder use for sound cues?

I'll have to look at it when I get there tonight.  A couple of other theaters use it too, and it can also be used to play image and video projections.

You're not alone. I'm not proud to say it, but I've pulled some beauts in just the last couple of weeks, largely from being distracted by various things. You'll get your direction back.
