Kale is actually an anagram for leak.

Kale is also a synonym for s**t.

I had bad mac-and-cheese for food - from The Federal, where it's usually great. Just flavorless and there is not a single ounce of salt at the theater. I ate it but it was just barely okay - about four or five ounces I'd say. So, after we wrapped our rehearsal, I stopped at Subway and got a spicy Eyetalian sandwich, came home, and ate it - that was very good.

I'd ask where George is but we all know he's playing Phase 23 or whatever it is, but he really must get home in time to post.

Back from another LONG day and an exhausting one. More in the notes, but heaven forbid ONE day should go by without some drama - tonight's was one of my two really solid gals in the show, well, her grandfather died today, but then was resuscitated but isn't doing well, so she was a wreck tonight, although she did the run-through and never let it show. But because the big monologue at the end of the show involves a character dying, I think that hit her hard. Well, hopefully we'll get her through next week and then she'll have five days off.

BK, have you ever had this many problems with any other show?

This showed up in my Facebook feed from five years ago. A fine, fine day.

Still a great picture. :)

Today the entire Northwest paid their respects to a Pierce County sheriff deputy who was shot and killed last week.  He was laid to rest after the service.

The only other drug/food interaction I have heard of is with grapefruit in some circumstances.

I have a medication that prevents me from having grapefruit anymore.  I love grapefruit.

We are close to finished the original run of Upstairs, Downstairs, so will be looking for another series.

My parents used to love that show.  I watched a few episodes myself and kind of got into it, but not enough to watch the whole series.

If I couldn't commit to being there for the full process, I wouldn't audition.

Exactly! :-\ I don't understand how some people (a Stephen Sondheim reference!) think that that's acceptable in any way.

Decided to watch Gambit tonight. Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine. Looks fun.

I loved that movie!  I haven't seen it in years, but I just got the brand new Blu-ray release, so we'll see how I feel about it now. ;)
