Doug is now finally saying we should hire a professional to do the rest of the run - if we can find someone to do Saturday night, which has all the makings of a complete fiasco, that would be great, then we could book someone and a backup person before next week's shows.

Starting a movie called The Hidden Room, aka Obsession. Robert Newton plays a cuckolded psychiatrist who catches his wife and her lover. All sorts of fun noirish stuff ensue.

Edward Dmytryk directs and Nino Rota composed the wonderful score.

Been listening to Stephen King and Richard Chizmar's Gwendy's Final Task. It's interesting because it's supposedly the third in a trilogy, but so much of the second volume -- written by Chizmer only -- is contradicted in this third volume. But's it's lightly enjoyable. When it ends in a day or two, I will likely forget it quickly.
