Don't know what just made me think of this, but I grew up in Palos Verdes Estates (now Rancho Palos Verdes), about a 1 hour drive from Disneyland. We used to go as a family about 3 times per year. Fond memories.

I knew you lived in my neighborhood for awhile.  I didn't realize how close you were to me growing up.  We were very lucky to be so close to Disneyland.

Our library sent back our copies and got a refund.  I think I'd heard that other libraries kept theirs and may have re-catalogued them as fiction, but I don't specifically remember the details.

I find it interesting you returned your copies.  The book was A Million Little Pieces by James Frey.  We discussed it yesterday, and the difference between lying about the content and being up front about the changes you made.  Most authors are open about the changes, at least I think they are.

If I remember correctly, the author wasn't up front about how much was fiction, or that any of it was fiction, which was a deciding factor in the return.

It didn't help that Oprah was angry after having raved about the book.

Hello, Dolly is IMHO better to listen to than watch. One of J.B.’s favorite songs is the movie version of Put on Your Sunday Clothes. Though why Dolly is excited about going someplace where the girls are hot as a fuse is beyond me.
