Walkers today told us that the path near Beaches is flooded, the area that tends to flood.  It is a shame that the path was never raised in the area.

Another day shot to hell.

Oh, well.

I had a decent afternoon cleaning out cupboards in my bathroom.  So much stuff has accumulated over the four years I have been here.  I don't even remember why I bought some of it.

And some pharmaceuticals expire.  Went through it all and scrapped the old stuff.

More tomorrow.  My spirit is willing, but my get-up-and-do often flags.

Jane, the winds were so strong that we saw a semi blow over in the oncoming lanes as we were headed to Casper. It was scary. The driver seemed to be okay.

We had driven past and I called 911. I got an answering machine: “If this is an emergency, please hang up and dial 911.”

Huh?

I stayed on the line and finally connected with a dispatcher who said he had received numerous calls already about the semi. So that was good.

Tonight at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts volunteer appreciation event, a whole bunch of us volunteers gathered to be appreciated.
