So, the program said they were going to sing An Ordinary Couple, but they sang Something Good anyway. I like the music to that song, but really dislike Richard Rodgers’s lyrics.

The production was fine with some 20 or so great sounding nuns. The Maria was tall, taller than all but one in the cast. The Von Trapp had a bad voice but had good chemistry with Maria.

Does anyone have Anthony de Mare’s “Liasons- interpretations of Sondheim’s music?
Unusual and innovative.
I really like it.
Probably not everyone’s cup of tea, but worth a listen, IMHO.

I also ripped the CDs to MP3s and reordered them into the songbook order so I could follow along straight through without having to go back and forth between the individual titles and the index.
