PROCRASTINATING
« on: July 31, 2022, 12:48:02 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes procrastinated, and now it is time for you to post until the procrastinating cows come home.

I can't say I'm sorry to see July, one of the worst months I have suffered through in fifty years, go. I've spent the month fretting over that Ohio property, waiting for a publishere to make a decision on my Annabelle & Thatch book, struggling to read while worrying that I was going blind and learning I had cataracts, waiting on money and contract from Indiana University, praying for work - and some did finally arrive -  and getting turned down for food stamps because I have "too much unearned income," although that "unearned income" of Social Security and pension is less than $2,000 a month.

So, I'm praying August will be good to me and all of you as well.

I've got my dasily cleanup this morning. After that, I will spend as good deal of the day at my worktable.

I'm thinking tomorrow I might finally do the laundry I've put off for the past week.

DR George, for God's sake get an air conditioner for your bedroom. Those temperatures are both ridiculous and alarming.

This morning I'm listening to Berlioz's Requiem. I must say there are moments I can understand why the French critics of the time found his music confusing. Much of it is glorious, and then along comes a passage for just the large brass section, and you wonder what the hell he was thinking.

I bought the new OLED Samsung 65 inch TV at Best Buy and I love it. I have the Best Buy card and hang it out over 18 months. I did a lot of research comparing it to the LG the Sony and the Samsung before I decided on the one I bought. You may want to look at some videos on YouTube from Digital trends before you make your decision.

It is a completely gorgeous morning out there, but it's hot and the humidity is 91%,

Ugh!

Someone mentioned Something for Joey for the TOD late yesterday.

I had forgotten that one - but seeing the title reminded me of:

Death Be Not Proud starring Patricia Neal and Robby Benson......

It should be done on time and already had to be postponed a week to accommodate Bryan's work schedule.
