I can't say I'm sorry to see July, one of the worst months I have suffered through in fifty years, go. I've spent the month fretting over that Ohio property, waiting for a publishere to make a decision on my Annabelle & Thatch book, struggling to read while worrying that I was going blind and learning I had cataracts, waiting on money and contract from Indiana University, praying for work - and some did finally arrive - and getting turned down for food stamps because I have "too much unearned income," although that "unearned income" of Social Security and pension is less than $2,000 a month.
So, I'm praying August will be good to me and all of you as well.
