Pat Carroll has also died. I interviewed her almost 40 years ago when she was touring with her one-woman Gertrude Stein show. She had a great laugh and a wonderful outlook on life. We talked about she had played one of Cinderella’s stepsisters. For years after, kids would treat her horribly because of the way she treated poor Cinderella. It was a memory that brought forth one of those joyous bellows.

So has Bill Russell.

I saw that, too, and had to read to find out which Bill Russell.  I've never been a basketball fan, so I didn't know who that Bill Russell was.  But another Bill Russell co-wrote Side Show, and Willy Russell wrote Blood Brothers.

That would be an interesting double-bill (no pun intended ):  a musical about two brothers who were separated at birth and didn't find out until it was too late, and one about conjoined twin sisters who couldn't get away from each other.
