I have matches from Tavern on Jane-didn't have a drink, just checked out the place and picked up a book of matches.

How cheap! ;)

Tom Cruise would NOT do that!
Neither Guy Haines! :o

Mr Tom Cruise was promoting his last movie in Marseilles, a few days ago, and was made an Honorary citizen of the city by its mayor!

Needless to say that a lot of people are p.o. by that!

I wonder if Gérard Depardieu was honored the same way by the city of Los Angeles? Who knows? Maybe!
But who cares, hey?

Where in tarnation IS everyone?  I'm watching the outrageous film, The Adventurers, from the novel of Harold Robbins.  Three hours this baby is.  Won't finish it tonight, obviously.  Still FIGHTING whatever it is that is trying to overtake me.  Drinking lots of emergenC.  Had a lovely dinner at Stanley's with Tammy and her mum.  Ate too much - you know, feeding a cold.

I'm listening to some music provided by DR Rodzinski - rare 1960's Soul/Pop.  Very interesting indeed.
I love the 2 minute story lines of 60's songs.

I thought it was more Tnappilf. (Which may be the Swedish word for something unseemly).

This IS flippant! -- not to be confused with flooppant! --

Flipper (verb) in French slang means "to be scared"!

I don't know the Sweedish equivalent! :D

FLIPPANT, baby, FLIPPANT!

I'm going to try and stay up to hear how the Bacharach revue went this evening.  Don't know if I'll make it.

The Adventurers - trash at its finest.  The score by Antonio Carlos Jobim is surprisingly excellent, though, and now I must find the LP.

I've been listening to Canadian (kimlet?) Michael Bublé.

I've been listening to Carmelina! (Terrific Paul Sorvino)

I've been listening to Disney's ON THE RECORD, which is quite good! The voices are amazing!

Good evening all
Just got home from the second of four performances of the Verdi Requiem.  This one went much better than last night.  Smaller audience, but very appreciative.  Now I shall relax and channel surf until DB Jed gets home.  I believe he is out for a post-show meal with his father...not TCB, his other one :)

Finished tomorrow's notes - I must say the Unseemly Trivia Contest gave me a headache just writing it.

Often not the got the books for research BK.
It's fun just thinking about the possibilities though.
Often I'm lead to play a Cast recording I have not played for years.
No guess does not mean we're not enjoying the challenge.
